S Y N O P S I S

‘Let’s assume we could close our eyes and encounter our fears. Let’s pretend we could visualise what is deep in our heart and doesn’t let us go. If only we could see what holds us back in a shape or a human form perhaps.

This story is about fears. It is about hesitations, loneliness but at the same time, it is about a desperate need for love. The writer attempts to describe all these emotions through a metaphysical journey to reality and imagination.

Elizabeth is moving to a remote island in Aegean Sea with her fiancée. The reason for this is a hotel she inherited from her cousin but also an excuse to discover her roots and redefine herself. Philip will follow her on that journey, as he wants her to be happy but also for him to explore new experiences.

They encounter Stella who is working in the Hotel for years now, an old and discreet woman with lots of secrets, Natasha a charming local business owner, and Andrew a friend of the past that he lives his life with his own conflict with destiny and life itself. Last but not least the spirit of her cousin Charles, who is going to play a critical role in this game of characters and their actions, whilst an enigmatic Lady Mrs Travis will add a different perspective to being.'

THE LADDER by TIMOS KAMVYSIS

THE LADDER-SYNOPSIS

Ptolemy Baker is a top salesperson in the City. One day, he finds his manager’s head disposed in the toilet, but the body was nowhere to be found. Lataf had many enemies but the police investigation is centred on his immediate colleagues: Gary Orlando, Judith Karlington, Kirk Wayne, Junor Zibaeiro. A sales team comprised of divas and alpha males. The sales team was supported by Tzaky Maurel, a middle officer. The show was run by Theo Boyle, the top boss.
Chief Inspector John Mathews is carrying out the investigation by initially profiling Korhan Lataf. The body is found close to Original Oak. A notorious place. A degraded mixture of a strip bar and a brothel. Following an attempt on murdering Ptolemy the police finds the den of a serial executioner, names Haros. The complexity of the numbers and drawings on the wall forces Jon Mathews to ask the help of an old Academy friend, Alex Kuznetsov. These numbers turn out to be connected to financial derivatives pricing formulas. But what exactly was the underlying asset is still unclear. And how is the pyramid-like organisational chart linked to them?
Evidence leads to a secret heresy called the Ladder that operates in the Bank and beneath the surface of the earth. The Ladder shows all the steps to moral degradation that the followers follow by manipulating societies globally. The merge with ZBS and an electronic company called Technola is a clear depiction of their methods: butchering people from poor countries and selling their organs to wealthy decision makers. In the vital organ a tiny microchip is implanted that creates a pulse. The pulse conveys orders that cannot be denied by anyone who values his life. If the orders from the Ladder are not followed, then the pulse becomes intense and culminates into the death of the user with symptoms of heart attack or lethal epilepsy. A clean kill…
Soon it is revealed that the real target of the Ladder is Ptolemy himself. A journey of personal revelation begins for him, which will change the way he perceives the world. Pascal, a graduate in ZBS, is offering to help Ptolemy through this journey. But nothing is what it seems when the Ladder is pulling the strings.
The battle under ZBS is fierce. Ptolemy is risking his life to save Claire, his wife, who was kidnapped by Haros in order to be sacrificed for the Ladder. Ptolemy is not aware that Clare is a repentant member of the Ladder. In fact, it was his boss, Theo, who introduced him to her in order to be able to manipulate and control him. He had adopted her and slowly they became lovers. Clare’s feelings towards Ptolemy are genuine, though, and that is all that matters to him.
However, why was the Ladder so interested in a simple sales-trader like Ptolemy and what is Ptolemy’s relation with the biblical prophet Elijah? In addition, is ZBS the only area of focus for the Ladder? The recent events in Mexico, West Africa and Libya suggests differently. One thing is certain; The Ladder knows well the art of the puppeteer and Ptolemy is in for a rough ride. A story of conspiracies behind investment banking and the nation’s decision makers, heretic sects and biblical prophecies is about to unfold. Mankind’s destiny may well be at stake...

THE FIVE STAGES OF TRANSITION:FROM DECEPTION TO LIBERTY (2)

Prologue

The miracle is present, next to and within you. The miracle is you. When you write poetry you hide in a bottle a message written on paper. Then you ship it in the ocean and you let it travel across the world. One day, somebody may graciously find it below a steep rock in the beach and be curious enough to open it. Then he will read the message enclosed. For poetry time is irrelevant and to be specific this poetry has defied time and difficulties.

The first chapter ‘Crash the Idols’ is a sociological approach in poetry of the dogma, VERITAS (Latin meaning of truth) and images that society encourages people to believe. Are these true, do they have any meaning at all? Or they are just hallucinations of the society of consumption?

The second chapter ‘The transformations of Vishnu’ is a reference to the changes of Vishnu into different forms and existences according to Indian scripts. We are subject to a continuous and ruthless change, since the time we were born. This change is considered determining factor of survivorship.

The ‘Myth story of an adventurer’ is a wandering in the ascetic communities of Mount Athos with a history more than 1000 years. The incessant seeking of light and freedom is a driving force of interpreting modern life with a more charismatic byzantine approach, in regards to philosophy and theology.

‘Dialogues of Despair’ is a modern song of songs, where contradictory powers clash and the winner is thirst. Thirst for life and Thirst for Knowledge. Thirst of Love and Thirst for Sacrifice.

‘The Silent Time of mysticism’ is about the inexplicable echo of our memories, our faith, our emotions and death right in the corner. The understanding of our Being is an understanding of the Collective Being and contribution to that.

εξάλλου τι είναι ένας "μικρός θάνατος" μπρος σ΄αυτή τη μεγαλειώδη ΑΝΑΣΤΑΣΗ ;;;
